Perfect Desert Location for a Senior Session!

I’m sure you’ve all heard about, or maybe even experienced first-hand, our very wet winter and spring here in Southern Nevada. There was great anticipation among the local photographers about the Super Bloom that just has to come to our desert this spring after all this moisture.

The local photography community waited patiently, but not much happened as far as Super Bloom in Southern Nevada. Not even in Death Valley.

I for one was so very disappointed.

One day, while wasting time on Facebook, I ran across a photo post of a beautiful field with purple and white flowers and the desert mountains in the background. I messaged the poster immediately to find out where this incredible field was located. I’m so grateful she shared that information.

McGyver and I drove out there immediately to check it out. It looked even better in person! I was winding down my busy senior session season but quickly texted the senior who was scheduled just a few days away. I sent her a few photos and she said YES to the location!
