A Crafty Adventure!
I recently worked with a large group of high school seniors in the portrait studio. This group had decided on a specific theme and chosen the color scheme of grays and blush pinks. When I was creating my shot list for these sessions, I knew I wanted to use a type of barrel chair, preferably pink.
I couldn’t find the perfect backdrop for these sessions and honestly, didn’t have time to order one and have it arrive in time. My friend Leslie sent me a link to a blog post where the blogger made a custom backdrop. It looked simple enough, so off to Walmart and the Dollar Store for supplies!
I laid everything out in the garage and asked (pleaded) with my daughter and daughter-in-law to help me. I will admit I was nervous, as I typically am before starting a new craft project a nd having the girls with me really helped calm my nerves. We were finished in no time, without too much mess!
See below a few photos showing sequence and how the final backdrop looked in the photos!
ps… excuse the messy garage!
